Joe Harris celebrates winning the ACC regular season championship in 2014
Former Virginia basketball star Joe Harris won the Three-Point Shootout contest as part of NBA All-Star weekend on Saturday in Charlotte, NC.
The 2014 UVa grad was the first player to shoot in the final round, and posted 26 points, which was good enough to beat runner-up Steph Curry (24).
Harris scored 25 points in the first round to earn a spot in the finals.
The Brooklyn Nets’ shooting guard is shooting 47.1 percent from three-point range this season, which is the second-best mark in the NBA.
