The New England Patriots and Miami Dolphins have released their first injury reports ahead of Sunday’s Week 2 matchup at Hard Rock Stadium, and both teams are a bit banged up at crucial positions.

The Patriots had perfect attendance during Wednesday’s practice at Gillette Stadium, but three players were limited participants.

Starting right tackle Marcus Cannon was among those limited participants. He suffered a shoulder injury in the fourth quarter of the Patriots’ Week 1 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers and didn’t return. Matt LaCosse is on the injury report for the second straight week with an ankle injury. He was active in the season opener but wasn’t targeted in the passing game. Brandon Bolden also was limited with a hamstring issue.

The Miami Dolphins are even more banged up. Six of the seven Miami players listed play on a defense that gave up 59 points in a Week 1 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. The Dolphins’ depth could be challenged early in the season, and the timing couldn’t be worse with Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and his high-powered passing attack coming to town.

Here’s the full Wednesday injury reports for both teams.
