Marvel Studios have set the Black Widow film for a May 1, 2020 release date.
Revealed during Marvel Studios’ Comic-Con International: San Diego panel, the film will star Scarlett Johansson and be directed by Cate Shortland.
“I get to play Natasha as a fully realised woman,” said Johannson on-stage. “I’m excited for fans to see the flawed side of her. I’m looking to wipe out some of that red in my ledger.”
Johannson is joined by actors David Harbour, Florence Pugh, O-T Fagbenle, and Rachel Weisz. Their roles have not been specified.
