Developer Respawn Entertainment, since Apex Legends’ launch in February of this year, has only allowed teams of three into Kings Canyon to participate in its Battle Royale, but that’s about to change, at least for a short while.
This new limited-time mode arrives during Apex Legends’ second season, which recently saw the 10th Legend added to the game – Wattson.
Season 2 of Apex Legends began earlier this month and has seen Kings Canyon change and the large beasts known as Leviathans now roam the map, stomping on unsuspecting Legends if they aren’t careful.
Also new in Season 2 is Ranked Mode. Players can climb through six tiers: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, and Apex Predator and a player’s rank will determine what exclusive cosmetics they can earn at the end of a season.
